Corner Rounding and Corner Cutting

Manufactured by SCS AUTOMABERG to the highest engineering standards, the corner cutting and cover rounding machines offer a unique solution for the bookbinder or finisher.
Two types of machines are available, the 2 HC Model is designed to round corners of book covers . This application is often seen in the bookbinding industry and is used when the sharp corners of book covers need to be removed.  A good example of this can be seen on most school books, which have the corners rounded for safety. The equipment will round the corner of the cover without cutting . The 2HC will round two corners in one operation and the cover is easily turned and the second pass will complete the operation.
The 2HCC Model is designed to cut the corners of book covers , book blocks or general round cornering.   The 2HCC has two knives which cut both corners in one cycle, and a pile height of up two inches can be cut in each operation.
Both machines have quick change blades which are available in a variety of Radius sizes.
